Who we are. amasoai.com and the Amaso plugins are operated by Fosia Ltd, 1 KN 78 St, Norrsken House, Kigali, Rwanda (RDB 122245701). Contact for anything about your data: support@amasoai.com.
What we collect on this website
- When you buy or download a plan: name, email, country, city and phone number from the checkout form, and your order history. Card payments are processed by Stripe, mobile-money payments by FosiaPay/PawaPay; we never see or store your card or mobile-money PIN.
- Your account: email, password (hashed) and license keys, so you can find your orders and keys.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to count visits and see which pages help. It sets cookies only after you accept them in the cookie banner.
- Chat: the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp; what you send there is handled under WhatsApp’s own policy.
- Security: our security plugin logs IP addresses of failed logins and blocked requests, kept for up to 90 days.
What the Amaso plugins send to us
Only for the Pro plugin, or when you choose these features:
- License checks: your site address and name, WordPress and PHP versions, plugin version and plan, so we can confirm your license and enforce plan limits.
- Google sign-in for Search Console: when you connect Google, the sign-in goes through amasoai.com; your refresh token is stored encrypted in your own WordPress, and our server only exchanges it for short-lived access tokens. We do not keep your Search Console data.
- Update and price checks: your site asks amasoai.com whether a new version or new prices exist. No personal data is sent.
- Everything else the plugin works with — your business profile, keywords, AI answers, schema, and your AI provider keys — stays in your own WordPress database. When you use the AI features, your site sends your prompts directly to the AI provider you chose (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity) with your own key, under that provider’s terms.
Why we use it
To deliver what you bought (contract), to keep payments and licenses secure (legitimate interest and legal obligations such as accounting), and, with your consent, for analytics.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider (Hostinger), our payment providers (Stripe, FosiaPay/PawaPay), Google (analytics, only with consent; Search Console sign-in, only if you connect it) and our email provider. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
Orders and invoices: as long as accounting law requires (up to 10 years). License records: while your license exists plus 2 years. Analytics: 14 months. Security logs: 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to its use, by writing to support@amasoai.com. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to Rwanda’s National Cyber Security Authority (NCSA), or to your local data-protection authority.
Cookies
Necessary cookies keep your cart and login working. Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them; you can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner link at the bottom of every page.
