In short: AI visibility for clinics, law firms, accountants and consultants comes down to trust. An AI assistant names the firms it can verify: who the professionals are, what they are qualified to do, where, for whom and how to start. Publish one clear page per service and per professional, keep your details identical everywhere, and track the questions clients really ask, without your name. Amaso AI measures those answers from WordPress and shows which firms are named instead of you. No tool can guarantee a citation.
Why is trust the whole game for professional services?
Choosing a doctor, a lawyer or an accountant is a decision people worry about. When they ask an assistant “which clinic in Kigali does a full check-up” or “a business lawyer in Nairobi for company registration”, the assistant tends to be careful: it names firms whose expertise is written down and confirmed by other sources. A firm known only by word of mouth, with a one-page website, gives it little to work with.
What does an assistant need to read about your firm?
- The services, one page each. “Company registration”, “Employment disputes”, “Prenatal care”, “Tax returns for SMEs”: each with what it covers, who it is for, how long it takes and how pricing works.
- The people. A page per lawyer, doctor or accountant with their qualifications, registrations, languages and areas of practice. Credentials are what both clients and assistants look for.
- The practical facts. Address, opening hours, how to book, which insurance or payment methods you accept, which languages you speak.
- Answers to real questions. A short FAQ in your clients’ words, with direct answers. Our guide on FAQ content that gets cited shows the format.
- Confirmation elsewhere. Professional bodies, chambers of commerce, directories and press that mention your firm with the same name and address.
What should a firm be careful about?
Professional services carry rules that a shop does not. Do not promise outcomes, do not publish client or patient details, and only quote a testimonial when the person agreed in writing. Check what your professional body allows in advertising. Careful, factual pages are also the ones assistants are most comfortable quoting.
Which questions should a firm track?
Write ten to fifteen questions without your name, mixing service, place and situation:
- “which law firm in Kigali handles company registration for foreigners”
- “clinic in Kigali open on Sunday for children”
- “accountant for small businesses in Kampala”
- “how much does it cost to register a company in Rwanda”
The last kind of question names no firm, but the cited pages show who the assistant considers an authority on your topic. That is the page you need to write.
How do I measure where my firm stands?
By hand, follow the method in How to check whether ChatGPT cites your WordPress site. With Amaso AI in WordPress, you add your questions once and Amaso AI asks them to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity with your own API key. Three screens matter most for a firm:
- AI Citations shows whether your site was cited, with each answer kept so you can read it.
- Share of Voice shows which competitors the assistants name instead of you (three competitors on Starter, all of them on Pro and Agency).
- Missions lets you pick one question you want to win, records where you start and gives an honest verdict week after week.
Amaso AI Free is free on WordPress.org; the paid plans start at $35.99 a year.
What should a firm publish first?
- The service page for the work you most want, answering the question in its first lines.
- The profile pages of the professionals who do that work.
- A FAQ on that service, with prices or how pricing works.
- Identical details on your Google Business Profile and the directories of your profession.
Then check the same questions again a few weeks later. Our article How a local business gets recommended by ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude covers the rest of the groundwork.
Frequently asked questions
Can a firm pay to appear in ChatGPT’s answers?
No. AI assistants do not sell places in their answers. A firm can only make itself easy to understand and easy to verify.
Is this different from SEO?
It builds on it. Clear pages, structured data and reviews help on Google and with assistants. The difference is that an assistant writes one short answer, so precise, quotable pages matter even more. See GEO vs SEO.
We have no website yet. Where do we start?
FOSIA, the company behind Amaso AI, builds websites for firms with its Digital-as-a-Service plans, from $199.99 a month with SEO and maintenance included.
Can someone handle AI visibility for us?
Yes. Our team and our partner agency Vatam can do it, starting with a free consultation. See AI visibility, done for you.
